School Counselor

Andrena Figueroa

I am Andrena Figueroa, the School Counselor at Cotton Belt Elementary School. I have had the privilege of working with children and adolescents in a variety of roles for over 25 years, which has been both rewarding and inspiring. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from South Carolina State University and my Master’s degree in Counseling/School Counseling from Webster University and Winthrop University.

In my role as a School Counselor, I truly enjoy advocating and collaborating to promote equity and access for our Pre-K through 4th grade students, families, and staff. My goal is to support the development of the whole child by helping students build the skills they need to be successful and productive. I am incredibly grateful to be part of such a dedicated and supportive team at CBES, and I look forward to a wonderful school year ahead.
