Debra Adams

Debra Adams

My name is Debra Adams. I began teaching at Cottonbelt in 2022. I am a graduate of Belmont Abbey with degrees in both educational studies and elementary education.

I have been married to my wonderful husband, Tim, for 26 years and we have one son, Dustin. My hobbies include art, gardening, and animals.  I love children of all ages, they keep me young at heart. I promise to love and nurture your children as if they were my own.

Whitney Moore

Whitney Moore

My name is Whitney Moore. I have been teaching in South Carolina since 2018. I have previously taught 4th and 5th grade in Rock Hill and in Spartanburg. My favorite subjects to teach are Social Studies and Science. I love to inspire my students to learn about where they came from and how they can change the future in a positive way!

I attended St. Petersburg College in St. Petersburg, Florida where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. I also have my Associate’s Degree in Veterinary Technology, which was my first career path before I decided to become a teacher.

I live in Union, SC with my husband and 3 of our children, and our oldest son is serving in the Army. A big passion of ours is traveling. I also enjoy snorkeling, kayaking, camping, and hiking, especially in the mountains. However, being born and raised in Florida, the beach will always hold a special place in my heart!

Jessica Pacheco

Jessica Pacheco

My name is Mrs. Pacheco! I began teaching in York School District in 2022. I recently graduated from Liberty University with my Master’s in Teaching. I graduated from Winthrop University in 2018 with a Psychology degree.

I have lived in Rock Hill my entire life. I have two dogs: a german shepherd named Beau and a husky named Milo. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, crafting, watching Gamecocks sports, and traveling. I am a huge fan of Disney, Starbucks, and Target!

Sherry Whitesides

Sherry Whitesides

My name is Sherry Whitesides.  I have taught Fourth Grade since I began my teaching career in 1994. I have taught Language Arts and Social Studies every year.  I love teaching fourth grade.  I believe this is the perfect grade because most students enjoy coming to school to learn new things and most students have a desire to do their best.  Fourth graders are becoming independent thinkers and can work at a higher level, but are still young enough to enjoy the fun things about elementary school. I enjoy watching the many milestones my students reach and the independence they gain throughout the year.

I was born and raised in York.  In 1997, I married my husband, Mike, and now we are raising our three boys here in York. Our three sons keep us busy, and we love every minute of it.  I enjoy reading, exercising, and traveling. My family loves going to the beach in the summer and to the mountains to ski in the winter!
